Job Description

Johnson and Johnson, Aesthetics and Reconstruction is recruiting for a Head of Strategy and Execution to join our team in Irvine, CA.

Head of Strategy & Execution, A&R will report to Worldwide President. The individual will work alongside the A&R Leadership team and GSM team to provide strategic support in leading our worldwide business. This role is responsible for the development, alignment and cascade of key strategic priorities and the A&R G&Os across the operating model. These include R&D, regions/countries, supply chain and supporting/enabling functions. It is to be based on site in Irvine, California.

This position provides high access to senior leaders, as well an opportunity to impact the formation of strategy, tactics, and execution on our most critical business priorities. A strong candidate will have the ability to work in a dynamic, complex, and high-energy setting. They will be able to support coordination and collaboration across the business in a fast-paced environment and have strong execution and operational skills.

Responsibilities


  • Responsible for supporting the President and A&R LT in setting agendas and planning LT calendars. They will help build governance and operational skills to enable the flow through of global strategy to execution.
  • Drive the adoption of high performing principles within A&R LT to ensure we deliver effectively on our objectives as a leadership team.
  • Operationalize and drive accountability for thorough performance management framework and processes including metrics and scorecards by focusing on key strategic drivers.
  • Lead business update reviews content design and creation, e.g., WW Chair business updates, business unit/region reviews.
  • Implement approach to enable decision making, resource trade-offs and prioritization choices maximizing data and analytics.
  • Lead and manage select, key critical initiatives, including timelines and budget, project management and interdependencies to ensure delivery of commitments.
  • Liaise with Communications to ensure clear and consistent messaging for the organization in all Town Halls and Senior Executive forums.

  • Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to flex between big picture and attention to detail.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with tenacity to learn, analyze and resolve complex situations.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead, prioritize multiple, sometimes ambiguous scenarios effectively.
  • Experience in developing key performance indicators and dashboards to drive performance accountability.
  • Project management: ability to set business/technical/organizational direction, strategic alignment, coordination and focus.
  • Ability to navigate the organization - collaborating with peers, leaders and senior executives.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, conflict management, team building and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communications across different technologies and media.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.


Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of forward-thinking professional work experience.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare market; consumer-driven medical device marketplace strongly desired.
  • Project/Program Management Certification preferred.



Pay and Benefits

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus as per the applicable plan. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis.

  • Employees may be eligible to participate in company-sponsored benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
  • Eligible to participate in the companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
  • This position is eligible to participate in the companys long-term incentive program.
  • Time off benefits include: Vacation up to 120 hours/year, Sick time up to 40 hours/year (Washington residents: up to 56 hours), Holidays, Work, Personal and Family Time up to 40 hours/year.
