We are hiring for both  Hospitalist and  Nocturnist positions. A  Nocturnist  role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Join Memorial Health University Medical Center’s close-knit team of 30 physicians and seven advanced practice providers (APPs), including a dedicated nocturnal team.
• Work alongside a diverse team with varied geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who learn from and support each other.

• Collaborate with hospital leaders and managers who are eager to assist in your practice.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
• Chief residents are encouraged to apply and participate in Sound’s Compass Program, a leadership track offering a monthly stipend during your final year of residency.

Practice in the Heart of the Community

• Compensation ranges from $1,625 (day) to $1,850 (night ) per shift, with $400 moonlighting incentives for extra shifts above the threshold.
• Collaborative scheduling ensures coverage for time off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as part of an established team at a tertiary care hospital, receiving transfers from surrounding counties and across state lines.
• Day and swing admitter shifts available, along with dedicated nocturnist support.
• Work in a hospital with a closed ICU managed by intensivists; procedures are not required, but maintaining privileges is welcomed.
• Collaborate with a resident-led MET/RRT team—hospitalists do not respond to codes.
• Utilize Epic EMR and access internal informatics platforms for streamlined care.
