Immediate Hirring For Warehouse Worker

Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for utilizing a forklift to move large products safely and efficiently, wrapping products, and manually lifting items. You will also be tasked with using your hands and power tools to open product containers, load and unload products from pallets, and use an RF Scanner to manage inventory.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift 40% of the day to move large products.
• Maintain balance on the forklift to ensure safe movement of products.
• Manually lift products and wrap them securely.
• Use hands and power tools to open product containers.
• Load and unload products from pallets.
• Count, weigh, and record the number of incoming products on the production sheet daily.
• Band materials into bundles and clamp portable conveyor systems together into bundles.
• Receive inbound products and use an RF Scanner to input them into inventory.
• Prepare orders for shipment as needed.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• Experience with keeping inventory.
• Proficiency with RF Scanners.
• Forklift operation experience.

Work Environment

You will work in a warehouse environment that includes both indoor and outdoor settings. Be prepared to work in all weather conditions and dress accordingly. Steel-toed boots and a hard hat will be provided. The facility is older, meaning it can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Please bring a reusable water bottle and dress in layers during colder months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bourbonnais, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
