The One 23 Group is seeking a skilled Recruiter with HR experience to support our growing portfolio of government contracts. This role will identify, attract, and onboard qualified candidates in compliance with federal contracting requirements, and provide hands-on HR support including employee relations, compliance, and benefits coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute full-cycle recruiting strategies to source, screen, and hire candidates for government contracts.
• Build candidate pipelines through job boards, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal regulations (EEO, OFCCP, etc.).
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, create job postings, and manage requisitions.
• Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure accurate candidate documentation.
• Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and compliance documentation.
• Provide support for benefits administration, employee relations, and HR policy implementation.
• Help maintain compliance with DOL, EEOC, and government contracting HR requirements.
• Support workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to maintain a culture of accountability, transparency, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 35 years of recruiting experience, with a focus on government contracting talent acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with government contracting workforce requirements (FAR, DFARS, OFCCP).
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• This is a hybrid position requiring 23 days per week onsite in the office, with the remainder remote.
