As a Staff Product Designer on GoFundMe Pro, you’ll lead design across complex problem spaces and multi-feature user journeys. You’ll mentor other designers and help evolve our design systems. You’ll be a core part of a triad leadership team, working shoulder-to-shoulder with Product and Engineering partners to shape vision, strategy, and execution of our most critical initiatives. You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration, unlock user value, and guide the evolution of our platform. We’re looking for a creative, strategic thinker with strong craft and a deep sense of purpose, who thrives in ambiguity, leads with curiosity, and brings others along for the journey. Candidates considered for this role will be located in the San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles. Responsibilities Help define the experience strategy for the GoFundMe Pro product and work with other designers to drive consensus across teams. Drive and set the bar for design excellence at GoFundMe Pro. Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive design decisions that create user value and business impact. Facilitate design workshops with cross-functional team members to ideate, brainstorm, and establish conceptual direction. Create and deliver high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and specifications. Contribute to and help evolve the Heart design system. Collaborate with the product team to turn conceptual ideas into usable, delightful, and valuable product features. Actively participate in group design critiques to solicit and provide thoughtful feedback. You 7-10 years of experience as a Product Designer, in-house or at an agency. Mentor other designers on design excellence, quality, and craft. Expert understanding of formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, and proportion. Excellent aesthetic judgment and attention to detail. Ability to articulate design decisions clearly. End-to-end experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and native apps. Strong problem-solving skills with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment. Ability to take initiative, prioritize, manage workloads, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication to articulate design decisions, ideas, and vision. User-centered, empathetic approach to design. Experience collaborating with lean teams of Engineers, Product Managers, and User Researchers.
